In association with ARCHIBUS Solution Centers Kuala Lumpur, Microcorp Technology hosted an academic visit by students from UiTM who are currently studying for their Facilities Management Masters in Science program (AP779) under the UiTM Faculty of Architecture Planning & Surveying (FSPU). Under their syllabus course code BSV708 (Computer Aided Facilities Management-CAFM), they were required to do an academic studies related to CAFM.

This was our first time receiving students in terms of knowledge-sharing. Previously, we only received practical students (we welcome all practical students to apply here). Overall, the event held received an overwhelming response from both parties.

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam campus has chosen ARCHIBUS to manage their entire facilities since 2007. Inline with their effort in maximizing ARCHIBUS use for their facilities management, a specialized FMS customization has been organized with a trainer flown in from ARCHIBUS HQ in Boston. The training was dedicated for UiTM’s FMS technical personnel in order to learn a much higher technical ground of the ARCHIBUS solutions.

The 5 days advanced training were then followed by another 3 days of ARCHIBUS fundamental training. The training were done for the FMS deployment at one of UiTM’s newer campus in Negeri Sembilan. Our in-house trainer conducted the training on topics such as Space Management and the use of the web-based complaints management system.
